LET'S RIDE!

ONE RIDE - ONE GOAL - BEAT BRAIN CANCER - MAY 15, 2027!

  • Thanks to all who joined us for Gary's Ride 2026 - we hope you enjoyed it and we really appreciate your support for our mission!

  • Gary's annual brain cancer bike ride is held rain or shine the 3rd Saturday in May (all sales final)

  • It's a bike ride and a post-ride celebration with food and fun for the whole family

  • Adults, youth, riders and non-riders are all welcome

  • The ride begins in Waukee at the corner of W Hickman Rd / Hwy 6 and NW 10th Street - the Waukee Trailhead on the Raccoon River Valley Trail (see map below)

  • The ride completes in Dallas Center for the post-ride celebration

  • You can register online through ride-day and also in person; just look for our sign

  • Credit card payments preferred, but cash & checks are also accepted

RIDE DETAILS

  • Check-in or complete same-day registration 9:00-9:50am at the Waukee trailhead

  • Review the liability waiver here

  • Riders choose a route (signs will be posted)

  • 6 miles > direct to Dallas Center

  • 18 miles > to highway 69 in Minburn with a turn back to Dallas Center

  • 32 Miles > to highway 141 before Perry, then a turn back to Dallas Center​

  • Ride begins at 10:00am with remarks from founder Kristin Wiedenfeld at 9:50am
