ONE RIDE - ONE GOAL - BEAT BRAIN CANCER - MAY 16, 2026!

Gary's annual brain cancer bike ride is held rain or shine the 3rd Saturday in May (all sales final)

It's a bike ride and a post-ride celebration with food and fun for the whole family
-
Adults, youth, riders and non-riders are all welcome

The ride begins in Waukee at the corner of W Hickman Rd / Hwy 6 and NW 10th Street - the Waukee Trailhead on the Raccoon River Valley Trail (see map below)

The ride completes in Dallas Center for the post-ride celebration

Early-bird $5 registration discount runs January 1 - April 30

Online registration is open Jan 1 until May 15 @ 7:00pm, then registration is available on-site

Credit card payments appreciated, but cash & checks are also accepted
RIDE DETAILS

Check-in or complete same-day registration beginning at 9:00am at the Waukee trailhead
-
NEW for 2026 > the online registration process has been streamlined, so only those registering after online registration closes will need to sign the hard copy liability waiver on ride-day. This will greatly speed up check-in!

Each participant receives a food ticket, ice cream sticker, wristband with drink tab and promotional item as relevant. Please do NOT cut the wristband as you will be discarding the drink tab!!

Riders choose a route (signs will be posted)

6 miles > direct to Dallas Center
-
18 miles > to highway 69 in Minburn with a turn back to Dallas Center
-
32 Miles > to highway 141 before Perry, then a turn back to Dallas Center​

Ride begins at 10:00am

POST-RIDE CELEBRATION DETAILS

Runs 10:30-2:00pm in Dallas Center

Enjoy lunch & a treat by the Korner Kone East N' Treats
